We are currently looking for civil construction plant operators to join our team. Expressions of interest are invited from people local to the area who live in the vicinity of, or who are able to commute daily to, Zeehan, in particular from Strahan, Rosebery, Queenstown and surrounds.
Start date: Late September – Early October 2018.
Roster: 14 days on, 7 days off.
Project Duration: Approximately 6 to 7 months.
Mobile Plant Operators | Civil Construction
- Excavator (up to 47t)
- Roller
- Articulated Dump Truck (HR Licence required)
- Water Cart (HR Licence required)
- Dozer GPS (D7 – D9)
Position Requirements
- Construction Industry White Card
- Current driver’s licence C minimum, unrestricted HR preferred
- Relevant plant tickets and ideally, recent experience
- Able to meet the standards of an industry standard pre-employment medical, including drug screen
Bus transportation between Zeehan and site will be provided and is the only means of transport permitted (no self-drive).
For fatigue management, local applicants must live no more than a 40-minute drive from Zeehan.
Consideration will also be given to suitable applicants who reside in Tasmania and require accommodation.
