Construction of the wind farm is nearing completion with work to install the final two wind turbines now underway. Once the final turbines are installed, further testing will be undertaken in preparation for the wind farm reaching full generation capacity.

Granville Harbour Wind Farm is currently generating up to 104MW of clean energy for Tasmania and the National Electricity Market.

Rehabilitation is an important part of the project – and because the wind farm is situated on a world-class beef cattle farm – it is critical that the site is restored to an extremely high standard. Rehabilitation works are progressing well, with much of the land now returned to pasture for cattle grazing.

In preparation for summer, bushfire readiness activities are underway in conjunction with the West Coast Emergency Management Committee.
