Our onsite construction team has made great progress over the past month, with 29 out of 31 turbines now installed, and the wind farm currently sending over 80MW of clean, renewable electricity to Tasmania’s electricity grid.
Testing and commissioning work continues as more wind turbines are completed and ready to start generating electricity.
The wind farm’s Operations and Maintenance building is almost complete in preparation for the transition to site operations, and the decommissioning of plant and concrete batch plant is now underway.
Site rehabilitation is progressing well, working to restore land to pasture suitable for cattle grazing and deliver a fully integrated wind and cattle farm.
