Over the weekend a large shipment of wind turbine components destined for Granville Harbour Wind Farm arrived at the Port of Burnie. The shipment comprised the final batch of nacelles, hubs, drivetrains and blades needed to build the wind farm’s 31 turbines. These components will now be moved to a nearby storage facility until needed on site.

We also received shipment of the wind farm’s transformer and switchroom, at the Ports of Burnie and East Devonport respectively. These critical items will be transported to the construction site later this week in two one-off deliveries to the remote site near Zeehan.
