The construction of Granville Harbour Wind Farm is progressing well with 90% of wind turbine foundations now complete and several turbines now installed on site. Trenching is now underway to install the cable that connects each wind turbine to the wind farm substation.
Construction of the transmission line and switching station are complete in preparation for the wind farm to generate its first electricity.
Wind turbine component deliveries from Burnie to site are expected to continue through February and March, between the hours of 2:30am and 11am Monday to Saturday, or six days of the week.
