Site preparation works at Granville Harbour Wind Farm continue – including the construction of access tracks, development of a temporary quarry and excavation works for the turbine foundations. Major works are expected to ramp up early next year.
A number of employment and supply opportunities are currently available. We will look to engage local candidates and businesses where possible as we see this as an important means of supporting the community. Please refer to the Opportunities page of the website for further information.
We continue to engage with neighbours, stakeholders and the local community to make sure we’re keeping people informed, consulting on our plans and minimising any potential impacts to local residents and the environment.
This month site visits and project briefings were held with local emergency services representatives – including the SES, Police and Tas Fire – to ensure site familiarisation and help to identify any potential risks.
