Work on Tasmania’s newest wind farm is getting underway. Currently there are around ten workers on site and this number is expected to increase in the New Year.
The construction of access tracks, drainage and other site preparation works are now in progress, and work on the turbine foundations will commence shortly.
Vegetation clearing and the development of access tracks along the transmission line corridor is also underway in preparation for the construction of an 11km transmission line to connect the wind farm to the electricity grid.
