Construction work on Granville Harbour Wind Farm is nearing completion with the final two turbines expected to be installed in the next month.

At the beginning of July we reached a major milestone with the wind farm exporting over 100MW of clean energy to Tasmania’s electricity grid for the first time.

With construction almost complete, we are now preparing for the transition to operations. We have recruited a team of four permanent employees to be based at the wind farm site to oversee daily site operations and maintenance.

The wind farm’s Operations and Maintenance building is now completed, and site rehabilitation is progressing well with works underway to restore the land to pasture for cattle grazing.
