Granville Harbour Wind Farm is now seeking applications from local groups for its first annual Community Grants Program. The grants program, which is planned to run each year for the operational life of the wind farm, is designed to support small organisations and projects that will make difference and deliver real value to the local community.

Project Director Lyndon Frearson said more than $10,000 in grant funding was available this year to support local initiatives:

“We’re really proud to be part of the West Coast community – it’s a truly remarkable place and we feel incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received for the project so far. The Grants Program is part of our commitment to give something back and make a valuable contribution the local community.”

“We’re looking to support projects aim to inspire community participation, enhance the sustainability of the region or contribute to community safety. These are three key areas that we believe are really important and where we’d like to help make a difference.”

Applications for this year’s Community Grants Program will close on Friday 15 November 2019. More information and a copy of the application form is available here.
